ABOUT THE ARTIST

Shimeng Wei is an illustrator and visual artist, and MFA graduate from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her work explores fantasy, memory, inner world, and the quiet emotional landscapes between the self and the world. Working primarily with colored pencil and digital media. She creates poetic visual narratives filled with birds, stars, plants, and dreamlike worlds.
